Partnership Announcement

Redman Solutions partners with US-based OpenGov to drive more accountable and effective government across Australia and New Zealand.

Today, Redman Solutions announced their partnership with OpenGov, the leader in enterprise cloud solutions for local government in the USA. The partnership expands Redman Solutions’ portfolio of technology solutions developed specifically for government to include OpenGov’s budgeting, performance, communications and reporting solutions, as well as their newly acquired Permitting, Licencing and Code enforcement (PLC) suite.

Since 2006, Redman Solutions has been providing technology solutions that help drive better outcomes for government organisations and the communities they serve. Redman Solutions’ CEO, Michael Redman commented on how the partnership will further empower this mission:

“Partnering with one of the fastest growing GovTech organisations in the world is a credit to the hard work of our team and their reputation for supporting our clients and delivering results. It brings more choice to government organisations across Australia and New Zealand who are ready to partner with a new generation of forward-thinking technology vendors.”

Neil Glentworth, an advocate for greater public sector accountability and a regular speaker at government events, has been instrumental in establishing the partnership between OpenGov and Redman Solutions. Glentworth said:

“The Partnership is a natural fit and an obvious choice given that OpenGov are leaders in what they do and Redman Solutions’ reputation of delivering excellence in technology and services, especially in the local government sector. I am looking forward to working with both Redman Solutions and OpenGov to deliver a platform that drives better community outcomes through increased accountability and effectiveness for government organisations.”

OpenGov was founded in 2012 after Co-founders Zac Bookman, Joe Lonsdale, and technologists from Stanford University, observed dedicated public servants struggling with outdated technology and unable to access timely information nor communicate priorities to constituents and elected officials. Believing there was a better way, the team set out to build a cloud-based solution to power more effective and accountable government. Today over 1,000 public agencies in 48 states in America form a growing network of governments leveraging OpenGov technology to work together more effectively and ultimately drive better outcomes for the public.

OpenGov Co-founder and CEO, Zac Bookman said of the announcement:

“I believe that governments deserve innovative and trusted technology to power how they operate and drive value to the residents they serve. I’m excited at the opportunity to expand our footprint into Australia and New Zealand and work with the Redman Solutions team to bring best-in-class technology to local communities.”

This announcement comes off the back of OpenGov’s recent announcement of continued record growth and an expanded cloud offering.
